Well, I have barely 113K mi on my Frontier (3.3 crew) and the engine light comes on. I go to Auto Zone to get their handy dandy free diagnostic and the codes for bad catalytic converter and knock sensor come up. The specific codes are : CC - P0420 Catalytic converter bad. Knock sensor - P0325 Knock sensor bad.

The knock sensor is located under the lower intake manifold on top of the engine block. There is no access to it without removing the upper and lower intake manifolds. Some people have reported that a shop has wanted to charge $800+ to do the work., I really doubt a knock sensor is the only problem.
