Took a nap to rest up for birth. At 7 pm started having contractions with no real pattern which continued all night. By 7 am I noticed them getting closer together. I went from 1cm dilated, 20% effaced at 34 weeks to 1.5 cm dilated, 70% effaced at 36 weeks! The doc said she wouldn't be surprised if I had the baby next week - but she also said to not quote her on that because everyone is different. I still may go until (or even past) my due date.
