Asus zenwifi keeps disconnecting

Used AC86U as the router and AC88U as node. AC88U keeps disconnecting intermittently once in a few months. I normally just rebooted the AC88U and it seems to solve the issue. Last night it disconnected twice within an hour. Rebooting the AC88U does not solve the issue since it disconnected again before I could finish a TV episode.
