Little Harbor Campground is the only one on the backside (south side) of the island and is, in my opinion, the nicest of the Trans-Catalina Trail campgrounds. It is located ~5.1 mi / 8.2 km from Two Harbors and 19 mi / 30.6 km from Avalon via the Trans-Catalina Trail.
