Apr 20, 2020 · I believe storm crystals dont spawn on planets that aren't a constant hazard. As in the weather needs to be extreme all the time even when a storm isn't present. I've been to a lot of planets and the only 2 planets I've seen them on had extreme weather 24/7. The weather was just deadlier during a storm.

Im not sure if that has changed in the last two updates though.
