A rich air.fuel mixture will give an O2 out of spec fault; however, the problem could be the IAC valve not working and making the fuel rich and giving an out of spec reading setting off the code. Along these lines you could also have a bad fuel pressure regulator.Moved to Arizona last year, and when it gets hot outside (105+), Air Conditioning running, and especially on the freeway (about 3K @ 80MPH), the temp gauge will make its way over to the 3/4 mark. It won't make it any further than that, but runs up in that area every day. If the air was lukewarm at all the vents, then it's entirely possible that the heater core away the problem. If, as you said, it was only the drivers side, then replacing the core didn't do a thing and the issue will likely return. There is one heater core.With that said the JKs do run a but hot (210-226) in my case depending on ambient and load. @Youssefsaafan One other thing you may want to consider is if you are running the most up to date software.
