Great discussion on JD L110 transmissoin problems. I have a well maintained L110 but about 15 years old. Used for mowing mostly on level ground. In last couple of years the tranny is getting slower and slower to engage in reverse and travel speed in forward seems to be slowing down slightly as well. New belts had no impact on the problem.
