2004 Jetta. Sep 11, 2011. #1. Hello, I am new to this group but am hoping someone can help me with a problem I encountered on a 2004 Jetta TDI I recently bought. The check engine light came on about a week ago and I got a ODB2 reader to see what was going on. It said the MAF sensor was having problems. (Code P0101.)
