Mar 29, 2023 · I have the original starter on my '07, so 16 years and 101K miles. Alternator was replaced by the previous owner at about 12 years and 75-80K miles. The previous owner drove very little, mostly local mileage, and I suspect he often over-taxed the alternator by letting it charge a depleted battery due to the car sitting.
